Breif
콜렉티브 아하(collective AHA, b. 2018)는 김샛별, 박주애, 정혜리, 최지원 네 명의 작가로 구성된 디지털 미디어 기반 아트 그룹이다.
콜렉티브 아하는 전통 조형 원리인 공간 구성, 균형, 여백을 디지털 매체에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지에 대해 탐구한다. 전통 미술에서 중요한 요소인 이러한 원리들이 디지털 환경에서도 어떻게 재구성되고 변형될 수 있는지를 고민하며, 이를 바탕으로 새로운 시각적 언어를 창조하고자 한다. 또한, 감상자의 경험을 중심으로 각기 다른 공간적 맥락과 환경이 만들어내는 독특한 정서를 탐구하며, 물리적 공간뿐만 아니라 디지털 공간에서의 장소의 개념을 확장한다. 이는 현실과 가상, 지역적 특성과 보편적 경험이 얽히는 복합적인 공간적 관계를 시각적으로 탐색하고, 새로운 공간적 관계를 제시한다.
Collective AHA (b. 2018) is a digital media-based art group consisting of four artists: Kim Saetbyul, Park Juaee, Chung Hyeree, and Choi Jiwon.
Collective AHA explores how traditional design principles such as spatial composition, balance, and negative space can be applied to digital media. They reflect on how these key elements in traditional art can be restructured and transformed within the digital environment, aiming to create a new visual language based on this exploration. Additionally, they focus on the viewer's experience, investigating how different spatial contexts and environments evoke unique emotions. This includes expanding the concept of place not only in physical space but also in digital space. By visually exploring the complex relationships between reality and virtuality, regional characteristics, and universal experiences, they propose new spatial relationships.
